Mazda 3

According to sources from Mazda, the new “3″ generation will make its debut as a sedan at the Auto Show in Los Angeles in November.

After the sedan is presented in the US, the 3 and 5 door hatchback versions will be shown to the public a month later at the Bologna Show in Italy. The aesthetic side will be influenced by the design of the Mazda 2 and 6 models.

Scheduled for 2009, the Mazda 3 will be equipped with the future generation of the Ford Focus C1 technical platform. The current 2 liter engine will receive an increase in power, and the excellent 4 cyllinder 2.3 liter engine will have its capacity increased by 200cmc and its power by 30HP.
